Hi there, Dan! Is solid inner version finally available? I've seen a picture from dannyr77 here in photo section (#17) where it's obvious inner tent is like matte, not transparent? If yes, are specs available? Thanks
PaulLozanovThat is an old picture from a prototype back in 2019 unfortunately. I'm still trying to make the solid inner version happen but no clear answer on that yet.

PaulLozanovI'm curious why you're interested in a solid inner tent? I like seeing the stars when I don't need the rainfly, and while I can see it enhancing privacy, that's not too much of an issue in the remote areas I usually hike.

HaliforniaA solid inner would be used in winter to make a true double wall tent

HaliforniaLet's say - I opt for solid inner (or at least bottom part being solid) cause I'm worried about sand getting in when you camp on the beach. Also splashes during rainstorm. Also cold wind blowing under the fly. Solid bottom part can make big difference while not adding much weight.

PaulLozanovUsed my 1p for the 1st time this weekend. You can pitch the tent with the fly tight to the ground all around. I don't think that splashes during rain or cold wind blowing in should be a concern with the current style unless you have the fly open . Good luck with the sand. I have never figured out how to stop sand from getting in a tent, or really anything, other than by not camping on sand. I would expect the fly to work just as well as a solid wall inner in terms of blowing sand.
