Allow me to be the first to point out that the ISO kit has the row numbers wrong - it says 2,3,4,4,4 when it clearly should be 1,1,2,3,4. Also, it strikes me that it's a "DEUK" kit, supporting the German national layout (WITH tertiary legends) and the English (UK) national layout (WITHOUT tertiary legends). Also, the AltGr keys are nowhere to be found. I can understand the drive to reduce the number of supported languages, but get those that ARE supported properly so.

depletedvespeneRegarding the ISO kit and international layout support. These are the compromises that I decided to take and why: ISO-UK layout: ` ¬ ¦ , 4$€ and Alt Gr. We have had so many GMK group buys with this UK ISO layout support and this hasn't been a deal breaker for people. ISO-DE: Q@, E€, and Mµ and Alt Gr. I'd like to first point out that I did include tertiary legends for the number row, and more in particular, point out that there's a 2"² key included, the reason why this key was included was because of the 3§³ next to it, as well as all the other number row symbols and the lack of a ² was very noticeable. Regarding the Q, E and M, I think it is a reasonable compromise for the kit, since the rest of the alphas (and just the alphas, I'm not talking about the numerals or symbols) do not have any tertiary legend. In total, 7 keys have not been included for this kit. Had they been included, the price for this kit would be $75 at 50 MOQ and if for a kit that often struggles with MOQs, $10 less is notable.  As you are aware, international layout support is a topic that has given this community lengthy discussions, and something I have discussed with peers such as Oblotzky, T0mb3ry or Wodan. So I will be focusing on the case of GMK Nautilus Nightmares which for those that don't know is a doubleshot keycap set made by GMK in Germany and distributed by US-based company Drop.  Most of the feedback I get from these kits is how expensive they are, and I agree. I cannot expect that most people would be OK paying $85 for an add-on kit, and ending with a $200+ bill (and that's before shipping and the inevitable customs) when buying a Core and an international kit. And since the very first GMK custom set that tried it, international layouts are usually the kits that suffer the most: we are working with big kits and low MOQs and that's the perfect cocktail for a very expensive kit. So we either we revert the trend of making it as bigger as possible to keep everyone happy, or we find alternatives and trim the kit to make it more affordable, even when that implies making some compromises that some people, like you, don't think are OK. The thing is, I didn't want to offer an $85 kit, or even a $75 one at 100 units (although I don't think my set will be nearly as popular as Oblivion and could hit those crazy numbers) That's a steep price that not everyone wants to deal with. And I have tried many formulas with different profiles to deal with this issue, from GMK Nautilus, Carbon, Pulse, Oblivion, and even if we go to other profiles such as MT3, we have tested many approaches, and the ones that have worked best are the cheapest ones. So after we wrapped up GMK Jamón and I reviewed how the set performed, I decided that I wanted to try again with an international kit with at least some basic German and UK layout support, since those are the two biggest and most active communities in Europe. The result of it was a $65 kit at 50 MOQ, with some acceptable compromises and that would most likely be $75 if we add all those keycaps that you are mentioning. I'm happy with how the kit is and I think it has a good chance of hitting MOQ and maybe, if we are lucky and the set does well, it can even hit 100 units and that would be awesome.

depletedvespeneI wish they just stop support ISO in general because of comments like the above. Its annoying and half the time the sets don't meet MOQ and someone ends up having to buy up stock to even get them produced. This ends up being a mega lose for everyone. I say drop ISO and let the ISO users whine into a pillow. Since they are going to whine anyway.

HotRoderXthere are just people that speak other languages than English. Maybe you should stop crying about things that don't affect you.
