Hey Everyone, We received an update from our contract manufacturer late last week that they're on track to have the keycaps done on March 12th. Most of the dates we're hearing from Chinese factories are preliminary estimates but this particular situation appears to be a firm date. We'll look to provide another update in the next week or two when we have absolute clarity on this. Mar 5th Update: March 12th "Project Finish Date" was provided by the contract manufacturer today. So it looks like we're almost there! Next update will hopefully be in a week and I'll be able to say "they're on the way to our warehouse!"

Mar 12th Update: Keycaps are complete and they're currently getting booked onto a plane out of China to New Jersey. Getting a plane out of China to the USA isn't exactly trivial these days, so we're waiting for confirmation of our cargo spot.

Mar 13th Update: Keycaps are booked onto a plane and currently have a estimated arrival + clearance date of March 20th. Based on that, we would be shipping sometime around March 23-25th

Mar 21st Update: Keycaps arrived late on Friday afternoon at our warehouse. They'll be unpacking / receiving /counting them on Monday at the warehouse, and should be shipping over the following days. Timelines and staffing levels are a bit tricky these days for obvious reasons.

Mar 24th Update: Our warehouse is in NJ which is a hotspot for Covid. They're doing their best but they've cut the shifts from 2 down to 1, and have lower staffing levels to maintain social distancing. Tracking numbers should start to go out in the next few days but we're being warned that every day is a new challenge with getting orders packed and out the door. Please be patient, I'll keep posting updates.

Mar 25th Update: 178 orders were packed and shipped today (out of 3000+). So the good news is that things are moving, albeit slowly. Tomorrow we hope to see significant progress. Keep in mind there are also significant carrier delays by all of the different post/courier systems right now so things will absolutely take longer to get to you after you have your tracking number.

Mar 27th Update: Orders still going out the door, we expect many of them to ship out on Monday.

Mar 29th update: Extras will go on sale March 30th, shipping in mid-April (After all of these are done). See my explanation/update here.

Mar 31st update: About 45% done shipping, sadly still moving slower than we want it to.

Apr 1st update: at 60% now...

Apr 2nd update: 75% -- Also some good news for people, there are more extras on the way to our warehouse towards the end of April!

Apr 3rd update: 92%

Apr 4th update: 98%

Apr 6th update: Still 98%, it looks like we're short some of the Forties kits. We're trying to reconcile the issue to determine whether the manufacturer short-shipped us, or the warehouse mis-received the order, or they went missing during transit. Sorry for the delay, we're going to ship the orders (without the missing Forties) kits shortly if we don't solve this quickly- and then send the Forties kits out as a separate order once that has been solved.

Apr 17th update: The MT3 Serika extras that were sold at the start of April will be shipping on April 21st, versus the previously communicated April 17th date. Apologies for the delay, everything is backlogged at the warehouse right now due to COVID related delays.

April 24th Update: All of the extras are shipped. Forties kits are scheduled to arrive on May 1st (or early the following week). We should have the missing Forties kits and missing Katakana kits shipped out by May 8th at the latest.

April 27th Update: Forties are now scheduled to arrive tomorrow, April 28th. Assuming things go smoothly they'll ship out on the 29th or 30th.

May 7th: Unstickying thread as the fulfillment uncertainty, timelines and issues have now all been resolved.

KevinHelp, I did not recieve my package, tracking says it has been successfully delivered at germany but i live in singapore?? i have no idea why this is delivered to germany i had no problems with shipping for SA laser and have recieved it my address is 100 percent correct so why is this happening for mt3 serika? im confused and disappointed

CommonmindSeems like it's smaller orders going out first. Most of the in the wild pics I've seen, mine included are small builds and minimal kits. I only had alphas 40s arrows and numpad and I got mine today. About 6 days from shipping notice, I'm in canada

KevinWhat's going to happen to the DHL packages that are rejected by the destination country? Will you try a different carrier or hold on to them until this chaos is over? I have already waited over six months for this drop. As long as I eventually get my order, personally I don't mind waiting another six. I am in Australia. Any other aussies get yours yet?

KevinIf you are splitting the orders that have Forties missing, do you know whether international purchasers are going to get drilled with two different customs charges? That would be very upsetting. It's bad enough your international packages aren't sent with a bonded shipper (and/or have the customs cost included in the shipping fee).

Cerulean93My April 6th update here addresses the short-shipment of Forties kits. We split everyone's shipments who were had the Forties kits so they would receive everything EXCEPT the Forties kit, and once we receive the remaining (missing) Forties kits, we'll ship those to everyone who ordered them as a separate shipment. Those orders will be marked as a "warranty replacement" so they should not have any customs or handling fees ascribed to them. People who ordered the Forties kits as an option on the extras for sales also aren't getting them until they show up. The packing slip said there was 200 in the box; turns out there was only 100 and the factory needs to make an additional 100. There's no malice here, despite your insinuation.

KevinI disagree that your update addresses the short shipment reason, no one knew that the factory messed up and now needs to make an additional 100 kits (how long will that even take?), unless they now scroll through over 50 comments (and still wouldn't know until I asked). Also my friend who ordered them as extras, doesn't even know he isn't getting his (until I just told him), so any malice that you are taking away from my comment is the extreme frustration of your customers with lack of timely and clear updates. I understand everyone is busy, but I ordered this over a year ago and it has been over 2 weeks since I heard any news about the forties. I don't see why it is difficult to once a week post a status update as to where the missing kit is, so you can avoid addressing comments like these.

Cerulean93It's difficult because there are dozens of problems like this that are happening across the entire supply chain right now, we can't keep up with updates because every situation is fluid and changing daily. Posting updates to say "we're looking into it and have no solid information right now" is a luxury we just don't have. My apologies if my tone with you was snarky. We're doing our best, and that's all I can promise. ETA on the remaining Forties kits should be around 2 weeks, but it could be faster, could be slower. If you don't want to wait you're more than welcome to request a refund, I wish I could give you more clarity on the situation.

You should have received an email from us letting you know that your order was being split into two shipments. I'll find out why that email didn't go out (to you, or to everyone). Apologies, but there's a lot going on right here and we're struggling to stay on top of everything. Everyone who ordered 40s will be getting a second shipment with them in the next couple of weeks. @hottiej99 Yes, we'll ship them out to you as soon as we can.

My replacement is not out yet while the seconds extras was shipped out and seems to be headed to the same destination in Germany. What’s the deal here. Are those going to be re-directed to Singapore or to whoever they were originally meant for ?

WinsterGlobal shipping is really messed up right now. Tracking is regularly wrong, shipments get held/lost/delayed/etc. The easiest thing we could do is just stop shipping/selling internationally... (and with specific countries where the mis-shipment rate is simply too high, we've had to). But we're trying out best to continue to service our customers wherever possible. This isn't a DHL-only problem, it's a problem that we've seen with every carrier (and we've received multiple notices from all carriers warning us that their service levels are severely impacted.) With that said, basically we ship products to you and we hope for the best. It'll either eventually get to you, or it'll get lost on the way and we'll have to refund you. There's not much more we can do other than that. In regards to your package specifically, please contact CS and they will try to help you out. Also please be patient, I can't tell you how many packages have completely wrong shipping, yet still get delivered. Things are very not-normal right now.

KevinThank you Kevin. The situation is such but DHL should know better to not accept these these packages when they are very well aware that basic shipping or anything economic or below is frozen. Nevertheless I have already contacted support and asked them to ship out the replacement for the first package, however this is pending arrival of the f row kit before it can be shipped out. My only concern being if this replacement is reserved for me or not. Second package consisting of the extras has been shipped out and it seems it’s heading to Germany but fingers crossed. I can certainly wait but it does get me anxious when things are uncertain with the carrier. Thanks again for your reply. Stay safe.

KevinSplitting packages is great, but with no way to go through customs it doesn't make any difference. I only have a single receipt for 2 packages and ultimately I have to wait until the second kit arrives and hope the first package (that is waiting already) isn't shipped back by then. I haven't heard back from anyone when requesting the invoice to be split either.
