Is the doubleshot on these done with an opaque white, or a more translucent white (capable of being used with backlit cherry keyboards)?
I love the idea, but need keys capable of being used with backlighting.
And a ++ on Tsangan sets... I only use keyboards with a 1.5 ctrl, since 1.0 ctrl keys often fail to register for me when held down with the shift key simultaneously (one or the other ends up too off center when both are pressed with my pinky finger and the switch doesn't always actuate for that one).

taswynBack lighting is tacky and bad for your eyes. Also you shouldn't be looking at the printing on your keys.
++ for tsangan though.

atdc(a) I could just as easily call your personal color choices tacky. Whatever they happen to be. And, I mean, really? we're talking about purple keys :p (b) backlighting is not bad for your eyes on any arbitrary basis. If you crank it to the point where it is actually capable of affecting your eyesight, then yes, that would be pad, but so is staring into a laser pointer. Most keyboard backlighting is FAR dimmer than the backlights in your monitor(s), even when at highest brightness. (c) I like my keyboard to look nice on my desk. That's SORT OF the entire point of a drop like this? Personally I like a nice, soft glow from my keys. (d) I sometimes use my computer at night, in the dark (which, fwiw, IS hard on your eyes). It's nice to not have to feel around for the F and J keys to center on in the dark. I'm a touch typist, but it's nice to see where your keyboard is in the dark. When it's done right, it looks pretty, too.
