I just got my set today. threw it on my varmillo. Anyone have any issues with Costar stabilizers sticking on this set? Every key but my spacebar is sticking stabilizer wise :( (Yes i tried flipping the stabilizers too)
Just got my etched green/cream set. I had no problems with Costar stabilizers and none of my keys get stuck.
In general, I'm very pleased with this set. However, there is one issue that bugs me: the spacebar stems are very noticeable when seen from the top, as you may see in the picture (yes, the spacebar is flipped). Is this normal? How are your spacebars, everyone?
On my friend's Pok3r the stock pbt caps have the same issue, maybe it's something to do with the material?
I havent got my set yet, but will report back when I do
My Spacebar stems are visible as well. I have the grey/blue set and the darker spacebar i t hink makes it a bit harder to see then your set though.
I got the same exact set as you, and my stems are clearly visible. I'm not too bothered by it though.
I bought the Ducky Shine 4 Community Edition with the Blue/Gray caps and I have the same issue with the stems showing on top of almost all my keys. Massdrop actually processed a return for me, but the keyboard that I got had the exact same issue (or maybe even worse). I guess I was expecting a little nice quality though
I've been reading up a bit about PBT keycaps and apparently it is common for them to have visible stems. If you look at the photos from users in the Vortex PBT Keycaps drop, you'll see that the issue is even more noticeable in that set.
For anyone thinking about joining the drop, I do recommend the keyset. They look fantastic and have a great feel. Just keep in mind that your keycaps may have some variance due to the nature of PBT plastic.
Maybe. I guess I'm used to Black PBT and I honestly don't notice them on my White Vortex Doubleshot PBT.
I also recommend the set. You quickly forget about the stem issue, it's really nothing
