Received my package around a few days ago. I am really happy with the keyboard, haven't encounter any problems with it yet. However I didn't receive the hardwood wrist rest...
I imagine they're suppose to be delivered together?
i got my package today was pretty excited until i found out they some how gave me cherry mx blacks instead of the cherry mx reds i ordered hopefully i dont have to pay for shipping to return this
I contacted Ducky and they gave me an RMA number. I had to pay $14 to ship it back to them. I have no idea how long it will take to get fixed or a replacement.
I'm wondering the same thing. I'm still waiting to hear back from massdrop about it. If I do end up repairing it myself, my biggest concern is finding the correct LED.
SkeezuschristI think to do it right, if it was indeed the LED that was burned out, and not just a resistor or diode, you would have to replace all the LEDs of the same color in that section of the board, so that you wouldn't have 1 LED color that is off from the rest. That's 15 LEDs to replace in my instance with the dead E key. I'm hoping it's something much more simple with a dead diode or resistor. But I'll do them all if I have to.
Just got mine. Nice keyboard, and you are correct. Its a rainbow colored board unfortunately. Also on mine, my F1 and F5 keys are always lit up, and my F2,F3,F4,F6,F7,F8 will not light up at all. That isn't good. I wonder if they will RMA it?
I've done this exact thing and it appears all of my LEDs work except for F3. I'll keep searching for solutions online, but it appears I have a dead LED at this point. Too bad because the keyboard is awesome otherwise. Have tried updating firmware to the latest version and doing a factory reset by holding down both of the Windows keys. Anyone know if I'm missing something obvious?
