Just as clarification. I know it has been said a few different ways, just need the clear yes or no answers. The laser engraved keys do not allow the LED to shine through, correct? You are able to switch out the key caps, yes or no? If so, what kind of keys would be compatible? I like that it is a mix of the Cherry MX Clear and Brown, just not a complete fan of the color nor of the discussions I am seeing regarding the functions of the keycaps. Just trying to clear up my decision if I want to purchase or not.

HollyHCorrect. Laser engraving only etches the letter into the top of the key cap. You are able to switch out the key caps. They will take any standard Cherry key cap. Ducky is usually the best about standard height/width. PBT key caps are my personal favorite. Once your fingers touch PBT vs ABS, you'll never want to go back, IMO.
