Is the GMT independent? Only the pic of the white dial shows GMT at 9am. Not sure if it's really independent of the regular Hour indicator or just a misaligned GMT pointer.

Isn't the black dial one isn't available for purchase? I wanted that one, but don't see in the options to chose.

Yes, agreed it is misleading, the other brand names do exactly the same whether it is Earnshaw, AVi-8, Ballast or James McCabe. But if we knew everything about what we were buying particularly out of China and some other countries ,then we may not buy anything!!!
I like your sentiments, and at one time I would have been a perfectionist myself: but we don't live in a perfect world; or if we did everything retail would be just so expensive.
A lot of guys are saying even the "Swiss" brands are using Chinese parts, or most of them do, so I guess you pay your dollar and take your risk!
But it's not ugly. Value for $99 with cool GMT function. Not for me but I can see it selling.

Regardless, they make a quality quartz watch for the money in very cool German Bauhaus styling. For the money, who cares? It's all smoke and mirrors on low end watches these days. Pick the one you like or don't. "rich Chinese guy" , lol. No bias there.

See @MadAnthonyWayne's comment above. Don't give your money to shady companies like these. This watch will prob fall to pieces after a few wears.
