Come on guys, order these. You WILL love them. The reason why is these earphone's response models what's known as the equal-loudness contour. This means that no sound at any frequency is too loud or quiet. This is a separate concept from the actual sound quality (resolution) which is good itself. The frequency response defines the tone of the headphones, like the tone of someones voice. These are a pleasant voice, not too shrill or quiet anywhere. Get them and see for yourself.
Check here for datasheets that show the frequency response graphs to see how the different units sound (more or less bass, treble, balanced or not, etc.):

m00k0wEven though I generally don't like the idea of $100+ IEMs not having a replaceable cable, I almost considered buying these—until reading about the cable stiffening issue. In today's market, where there are earphones at far lower price points with replaceable cables, choosing to not include that in a premium product just doesn't cut it.

ChaoticKinesisThis is the very reason I held off on the DN-2000. Shame, since at first I was really looking forward to them.
@earplug: ditto.
