I am just waiting for DN2002
I was very impressed by Fiio EX-1
Now enjoying Fiio /Dunu EX-1 2nd generation.
Actually Fiio branding Dunu Titan as EX model.
I am eagerly waiting for DN 2002
I have EX-1s and really like those. Are the 2002s going to be much better? If so, in what ways? EX-1s to me are very balanced, low noise, and good clarity. Never had a multi-driver IEM, so what am I missing out on?
jw12Hi.......owning both EX1 and DUNU DN2000(triple hybrid) felt like comment that original was very impressed by EX1 in terms of clarity soundstage width and transparentness...Buying after a while DN2000 was a major upgrade in terms of sub bass definition and vocal performins...Vocals come to life with clarity authority and sweetness....i very much want now to request dunu dn2002 drop again...DUNU is top tier brand in quality iems....TOP SOUND...
EX1 (x dunu titans) are just suberb and totally transparent sounding...Clarity and soundstage wise are top there...
Is EX1 ii more mid forwarded?meaning more focused to vocal reproduction?
A word of warning: I went online for support after a channel of my DN 1000s stopped playing anything halfway through a listening session about 8 months into owning them. I had to message them on headfi to get an email address just to get a response telling me to pay for shipping to Asia to change the cable out. Ended up not bothering as they had a plethora of other issues as well (peeling coating, extreme driver flex, not to mention piercing highs). I guess they got their money from me and were satisfied, and I suppose they saved even more by scaring me off customer service.
have owned this pair for over half a year now.
they are the successor of the dn-2000j which i have also owned before, having a sound character very similar to the AKG K3003.
To me, this DN-2002 is an upgrade from dn-2000j, which gives you a more solid bass and more dynamic sound, which dn-2000j lacks.
Well, that was weird. Whatever. Second attempt.
I just handed my pair of these off to my wife. I really enjoyed their sound but couldn't get them to sit comfortably in my ears. She doesn't have that problem.
