Why are the caps lock and shift keys different on the space gray one compared to the white one?

Mine just arrived in the mail today. Unfortunately, I cannot chime in with @ranscott as I do not believe that this keyboard was actually worth neither time nor money spent. It's simply "it'll do" and no more. I might as well have gotten a cheap Corsair mech keyboard. At least their software supports Linux. Come to find out that the software is required for ANY function keys to work. This just isn't as good a deal as what I had been led to believe. Am I sorry that I paid? No. It's a decent price for a "meh" mech keyboard. Nothing fancy. The 32-bit ARM chip is wasted, now that I have found that there is NO way to use extention keys with my operating system.... not even default function keys. If I had bought this on Amazon, it would be a "return on first day" item. This is also my last purchase with MassDrop / Drop / "shipping is slower than frozen molasses in the arctic" site.

Mine just arrived. Was the wait annoying? Yes. Was it worth the wait? Absolutely. Loving it thus far! Please improve the communications channel on these late shipments.

So how long is everyone willing to wait before cancelling their orders? I assume that Drop will never learn their lesson and continue to have their customers disappointed unless something happens. Even reaching out to their support staff lead to nothing and that "They've passed along this concern to the appropriate team for further review and consideration." which basically meant that they are done "supporting" me. I feel like in cases like this, drop should feel financially responsible and worried in the case that the customers all cancel their purchase. Until then, nothing will change.

Same here. First and last product. Glad it finally shipped at least. Even more disappointed that they were able to ship it without letting anyone know. What if people were to cancel their orders the day before it shipped. No word was given on another "estimated date".

I agree. This will be my last Drop purchase. Period. I'm unregistering from their spam mail and stopping all logins after this. Even though I did get the email that the item was shipped, this has gone on way too long. They're lucky that it didn't go until the end of month, since that was when I was planning on cancelling completely, adding yet another cancelled customer to their surely long list. There is absolutely no reason to keep customers on the edge of their seat for so long without any updates because the manufacturer messed up their shipping or overbooked (or whatever excuse they'd come up with). Thank you, Drop, for FINALLY getting this item shipped to paying (and VERY patient) customers, but it's too late for any possibility to get any more money from my wallet. I'm done with them. 3+ months is way too long to wait for a stupid keyboard.

Any updates on the delivery for this keyboard? It's been almost two weeks since it was meant to ship (at the latest)...

I keep checking my email for any updates on this. Last thing I heard was "unexpected delay", but that was all the way back on 5 September. I ordered on 20 July, knowing about the 5 September ship date (thought it was a bit long, but that's ok, if it's a decent product). Where has Massdrop gone?!? If this is their new business model, this will be my last purchase. The only thing keeping me from pushing for a refund/cancellation is curiosity on just how long they plan on letting this go.

So this is what has become of Massdrop then? No updates until est. shipment date and then just a lousy email that it's been delayed due to an 'unexpected delay'. Maybe try being reasonable with your customers and giving them a proper reason and a new, better, estimation.
