Product Description
Dwarf Factory brought us the Anura Frog, the Dwarven Chest, and the Snoob Bear artisans. Now they’re back with the Spooky Fossil, inspired by preserved creatures in amber, like you’d find in a science exhibit or a collector’s basement Read More
My problem with artisans is that purchasing 1 single keycap is not justifiable for spending so much money and then shipping on top of it. If artisans came in packs, or larger keys like spacebars that made a bigger impact on the design of the board they would be much more appealing to me. This is all personal though and I would hate to discourage the creators of these. They are so beautiful and I know one day I will have a few.
There is no limitation in art. Art comes out all in different forms. When someone draw a tree, and you draw a tree, do you say that someone copied your work? People learn from each other, take inspiration from each other to create new things. That's called innovation. This is what drive up competition.
I can see little resemblance of the Furt to this drop. To me, they are 2 totally different products. How can the below picture look the same as this drop? I can see that Dwarf Factory put the thoughts and process to make their products beautiful, much more than the Furt. Whether DF took their inspiration from the Furt or not, instead of saying this is an IP theft product, I would say that this is the upgraded version. I am not bias toward Dwarf factory. However, saying that their product is trash is just painful. People are not respecting art. And what more disappointing is that people are LIMITING themselves from accepting new concepts and ideas.
I had to google Furt to see what all the fuss is about, and the closest thing I could find is this keycap. Did I miss anything? Because other than being a frog it looks nothing like the caps on the drop, and with way less effort put into in.
