I just received a shipping confirmation and according to the tracking it actually shipped three days ago. At last the saga may come to an end.

A-tomSame. Submitted my order on 9/15 and received shipping confirmation on 10/21. Not a single update from Massdrop along the way.

10/20 UPDATE:
"I apologize for the extensive waiting, at the moment we are awaiting for vendors response for this drop, they have been contacted by logistics repeatedly to know more about the orders, as Massdrop serves more as platform for vendors to sell their goods we do not have inventory on hand for this particular drop as the items were going to ship directly from DX Racer. As mentioned before we are constantly communicating with the vendor in order to get new information but the item is back ordered and needs to finish production therefore we do not have solid information as of when this items are going to be shipped, of course I am talking to logistics and trying to open new options for customer of this drop that have not received the item and provide a prompt resolution."
So according to Massdrop support the item is still in production. Meanwhile, however, it's available and "In Stock" on their website. (At least those of us who ordered the version without a footrest.)

I contacted support again 5 days after my first inquiry. I basically asked how much time is Massdrop allowed without any idea if and when an item is going to ship before a participant is due a refund. The response is as follows: - Thanks for contacting Massdrop Support. Our logistics team is working tirelessly to get this issue worked out. Several members are in contact with the vendor trying to find out what the shipping hold up is. We do sincerely apologize for this delay, I know how incredibly frustrating it is. As soon as we get any form of updated information we shall be passing it on to the community. Please continue to monitor the discussion board and the logistics team is always available on the discussion board to answer any questions or concerns. We thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter. - Notice there was no mention of the "R" word. Oh well, all I can do is wait and see I guess. I feel so violated and helpless. :p

A-tomI requested that they escalate the issue internally. Here's the response I got this morning:
"I am currently working with logistics in regards of your order and they are also investigating directly with vendor, once we get a solid answer we will reach out to you and move forward with the necessary steps to a resolution.
I appreciate your patience very much and I apologize for this extensive waiting. Meanwhile please visit the discussion board of the drop as sometimes valuable information is posted by logistics and other members in regards of the drop status."
Another couple things strike me as odd: 1. It's clear at this point that "working with logistics" means they forwarded the e-mail to someone else who is now ignoring it. We've been hearing that same thing for weeks. I was inclined to believe this was a DXRacer issue at first, but now I'm sure it's a Massdrop issue.
2. "Please visit the discussion board." If they had actually taken the time to read the comments here they'd see there has been NOTHING posted by Massdrop in the last month about it. We were told to expect an update by 9/30 and here we are on 10/18 waiting for our orders to be confirmed.

From support:
"Thank you for contacting Massdrop Support and we apologize for the delay in shipping out your order. I have brought this to the attention of our logistics team and they are looking into what is going on. We will be in touch once we determine the cause of the delay."
Translation: No one has any idea what's going on.
I wouldn't be surprised if DXRacer had some inventory or ordering issues. But for Massdrop to not post any updates about this? That's inexcusable. What's really unsettling is that @HeatherV has yet to respond to any comments here asking about an update.
Massdrop: Where are our items? Are they stuck in the mail? Ordering issue? DXRacer messed something up? You messed something up? The order never went through? Is it being fixed?
More importantly, why haven't we been told what's going on?

cwtopelI got more or less the same response 5 days ago. At what point am I eligible for a refund I wonder? I will ask support this question (since they don't read this thread apparently).

A-tomCheck your transactions, I can now see a tracking number. But I agree, I will NOT be using Massdrop again. The customer support is abysmal, and the small amount I saved isn't with the hassle and the delay.

My name, Is Terry Tinder I Live in Wichita Ks. I am a disabled Vet . Most of my time is spent in my desk chair @ my computer I have A DX Racer chair on order and it sounds like it would just be the ticket for me. It was to ship on 9/29/2016. I ordered it on the 9/15/2016. I have ask many times for an up date on my chair. 25 days having my monies tide up this is hard on a limited income. Still waiting for a tracking number and still waiting for updates. I contacted support yet again and was told that the logistics team is still working on it and apparently DXracer has in the past not given them tracking numbers. I also contacted DXracer directly but was told that they and Massdrop use a different ordering system so DXracer was unable to help. This will be my last ever order using Massdrop. The small amount of money I saved isn't worth the lack of info from Massdrop and they delay in shipping. Next time I'll just order from the vendor directly.
