whomad1215It's hard to say. The Leap and the Aeron (and Steelcase's Gesture & Herman Miller's Embody) are both absolutely excellent chairs, and they should be - Steelcase and Herman Miller are a couple of the biggest leaders in office chair technology. I've been lucky enough to try all 4, and would be happy to answer any questions you may have about them. If you can afford it (and I am biased saying this), I would recommend trying out and going for Steelcase or Herman Miller rather than a chair designed for gamers. The premium is likely worth it for a lot of people - but there is a premium, they're all around a grand whereas gamer chairs are something like 200-400. It's not really a fair comparison.
That being said, everyone is different and they have different preferences. I strongly recommend you try out any chair that you're interested in using - especially if you'll be sitting on it for hours a day for months or years to come. If you can't try it out, make sure to buy it from a place with a good return policy.
Treat it like a mattress if you can - if you'll be sitting in it for a sizable % of your time throughout the year, make sure you like it and don't be afraid to invest in the chair if you can afford to do so, it's quite the health-concious decision.
