Well, I got my chair in 3 shipping days (today, September 6th, due to the long weekend). I paid $397~ for the chair with the footrest. First impressions: yeah, it's worth it. The seat is firm, like a new car kind of firm. You know it is going to break in nicely. I did not get this Iron Series - I got the Classic Series - and I am glad I did. I am but 5'11" and I am not in my best shape at ~200lbs. I am generally skinny, and still manage my 34-36 jeans. The side bolstering is just right. Granted, this is more of the 'office' chair, there is less metal bars throughout the chair, but I am not complaining. I knew I like to sit at odd angles sometimes, and wanted a chair I could sit in those positions. I am testing out the lumbar pillow, it might just work. I tend to slouch while I game. This chair has me feeling the desire to sit up straight. Getting in and out of the chair is so nice as well.
My chair has the footrest. I was iffy on it - I could buy a footrest off Amazon for the same price, etc. I ended up going for it and I am glad I did. It comes pre-attached, slides out easily when you want it but stays put when you don't need it. The recline plus the footrest, you couldn't make that work with any other footrest. It feels like a dentist chair when fully reclined.
My wife recently purchased a $200 Serta chair from OfficeDepot. It SUCKS. We tried a bunch of chairs, and the only good one is out of stock and not available for order, still at $200. So I paid an extra $200 for a chair I am fairly certain will last me a very long time.
I went with DXRacer over cheap brands on Amazon and I am glad I did. I went with the Classic because it looks unique and I cannot find a knockoff, so I know it was designed first by DXRacer. I think any chair you get like this will be well worth it and you will enjoy it, Iron Series or whatever. If I ever get another I will try out the Iron Series to see if there is more of a hug to it.
My previous chair was an expensive leather chair which I sunk into when I sat down. It was very comfortable. But I often got headaches after long nights of gaming. We will see how this works. Already though, my posture and hand position is so much better. I anticipate good things.

VexusDon't buy chairs from Office Depot man. If you have stores like Design Within Reach near you, it's worth it to visit one. You get to try just about every decent chair you can think of.
