2 years later and I wholly regret this purchase. The arm rests broke off the sides, the arm rests also wobble an extreme amount, the back won't stay upright and falls back when any force is applied, the piston is shot and the chair does not stay up, two of the wheels are stuck/don't roll any longer, and the material on the seat area and backrest is almost completely disintegrated off. This has been perhaps the most disappointing and biggest waste of money on a physical item I have ever bought. I must assume the quality of all DX Racer products are this poor. Do not buy this overpriced poorly made piece of crap.

My left armrest was also faulty. The rear screw mounts were broken rendering them useless. The first time I sat down and put weight on the front of the armrests, the left one snapped because the rear screws weren't doing anything and that created a fulcrum where the front screws are. Still waiting to hear from support.

I had a broken armrest on arrival and have heard nothing from DXR support since contacting them on Monday. I am not happy >:(
Reading through these it seems to be the same issue with the left armrest's back bolts being broken off. Seems like a packaging issue perhaps? All I need is a replacement armrest and plastic part it attaches to, which I don't feel like I should pay for after buying a goddamn $400 chair.
edit: DXRacer support is sending me a replacement armrest and holder free of charge after giving them a copy of the receipt and picture of the break. :)

noisyturtleSounds like a weak point in the design of the chair, as the part of mine that was broken (the very top part of the left arm rest) appeared to be connected by bolts into a plastic piece. I received my chair last Friday, April 8th, I put contacted DXRacer support that night (I emailed both contact@dxracer.com and feedback@dxracer.com just to cover my bases) with a screenshot of my Massdrop invoice and a picture of the broken arm rest.
I heard back from them (contact@dxracer.com) on Monday the 11th, they said they would be happy to service my warranty right away. Yesterday the 12th they said they shipped out the replacement part and today the 13th I got a full new left arm rest in the mail. I bolted it on and all is well. Overall I give DXRacer support an A for their prompt service.

Chair arrived, however it only has the 3d arms and not the advertised 4d arms. To buy the correct arms will cost 100$ according to DXRacer's site. Extremely disappointed. :(

AfevisThe drop description page for this product says that this chair has 4d arms. This is clearly a typo, as DXRacer's own product page clearly says that this chair comes with 3d armrests. Not a big deal for me personally.

What is a bigger deal to me is that my chair arrived today and I quickly discovered that the top part of the left arm rest had sheared completely off. I haven't initiated an RMA yet (I literally just finished putting the chair together less than 2 hours ago). I don't know what that process will entail, but I can say for certain that I'm not sending the whole damn chair back because the armrest is broken.

rhenomI had to start an RMA for the chair due to the left arm rest as well. Took 14 days to arrive with a "$30" handling fee. The product description here doesn't even match the vendors website. I feel like since the Massdrop page states "4D arms" and the actual product did not, it should definitely be honored somehow. Maybe refund the snail mail $30 fee or something.
Chair itself is lovely. No complaints about the actual chair, but the left arm rest being sheared in the back is definitely disappointing .
