I also had a broken part on my chair. The cosmetic part that covers the 90 degree weld on the right arm rest was broken and the box it came is was covered in dxracer tape... so it was shipped like that. I reached out to their warranty people a couple times as well and massdrop... about a week later someone contacted me and asked for an invoice number and pictures of the damage. They said they would get new parts in a few weeks and ship them to me. It took some doing... but their staff must just be overloaded... once you get a hold of someone it is pretty painless.
Just received my chair and was able to put it together with two issues. The right side bar that attaches the back of the chair to the bottom was bent. was able to fix that myself. noticed though that the left arm rest is cracked and it wobbles a lot and afraid if put to much, it will snap. Should i just contact DXRACER directly or you guys? Thanks in advance.
For anyone else who may be confused, I received the ship notification today from MassDrop. The notification claims it is being sent by UPS, but these are being sent by FedEx. They DO require signature verification of receipt. If you aren't home, FedEx will leave a slip. If you are home... they might still leave a slip... without knocking... and run away... fast. (I'm not a fan of FedEx.) Keep an eye out. The company is based in Cali, hence why some folks are receiving their packages already out west, since the tracking info I received said it was shipped out Friday.
Individual packages have started to ship! The vendor confirmed earlier that majority of the group's order has been sent out with the rest scheduled for pickup shortly. Once your package is scanned into the courier's system an email will be sent with shipping confirmation and tracking info.

um... so these are shipping already? no notification? no tracking? I just received a missed delivery slip from fedex... description online appears to be the chair. ???

We've been in touch with the vendor regarding the group's order and they've let us know that they are still working to gather and package the group's order for individual shipment to each of you. We will continue to check in with them throughout the fulfillment process and update the group again as soon as everything is sent out!

As soon as the group's order is ready at the vendor's location, they will ship the individual orders directly to you. The current estimated ship date is 8/25.

Is massdrop a certified reseller i was under the impression that massdrop works out deals to get lower prices from suppliers and once the order is placed and paid for that the supplier is in charge of all aspects of the order for each individual customer
NestyYes, we are an authorized re-seller of DXRacer products and work directly with them. The DXRacer products sold on Massdrop will have a full manufacturer's warranty with DXRacer directly.
How the orders are fulfilled depends on the agreement between Massdrop and the Vendor. In this case DXRacer does drop ship the products for Massdrop directly to our community members who have joined the drop. Again, while DXRacer chooses to show free shipping on their website it is build into the cost you would pay if you purchased from their website. These chairs are heavy and in large boxes and shipping is not cheap.
On most drops you see on Massdrop we have chosen to show the shipping cost to the community so there is full transparency of the price of the product and the shipping cost. We could have priced this drop $30 higher and advertised free shipping. Either way you would still have saved the same amount on this drop per unit purchased which was $60.
