guess I'll add in my review after 2 days of use, im 5'9" and 185~ lbs.
Pros:
- very comfortable, love the headrest and lumbar support.
- definitely firmer than most office chairs, this is a preference thing, I actually quite like this firmness.
- looks awesome and quality feels very solid.
- can lean really far back without falling over.
- sometimes I like to put my legs up and sit awkwardly, the size is wide enough to accommodate that habit.
- adjustable armrest is way more useful than I thought.
Cons:
- armrest is made of rubber, takes a bit to get used to, I like cushioned armrests better.
- with the spring loosened all the way and unlocked, I still find it a bit hard to lean back onto the chair. (maybe it will get easier the longer I use this chair)
- you can only lock the seat if it's flat, but the back can be locked at any angle.
So i just got this chair yesterday, and already have a few downsides, would maybe be reasonable for a cheaper chair, but for the price would not recommend. here are my complains:
When rocking is locked, it still has quite a bit of give, and also rocks left and right...not good. The way the back mounts to the bottom leaves a bigger gap on the left and not the right, which causes the back to be uneven, i think this can be explained by the placement of screw holes.
The material is much stiffer than i thought it would be, very very firm. I'm 220lbs and the seat has hardly any give, if at all.
I've tightened the pneumatics/spring all the way, and i still can't seem to balance the chair without the rocker locked, at its tightest it still leans back with little force applied. I'm a pretty average guy, little gut but not huge, probably the target market for this kind of chair(i'm 6'2" and 220lbs) and it is very difficult to get it to rock forward without extending my legs all the way and pulling my back forward as much as possible.
I'm really disappointed with this chair, especially considering the cost, anyone else have these issues?
Zenninnomthat's what I thought too, but if you google the product, in every image you can see the 3 black dots on the feet. it's just really weird that they are there.
