Contacted the DXRacer warranty dept. The tank chair they sent out is a new revision of the model. The new version does not come with two pistons as they included a new hybrid piston that is made to go higher and lower. It would have been nice to know and the drop updated with this information.

Got my chair yesterday and got it assembled. Too early too judge, it's not super comfy right of the start, so I'll give it some break in time, as it is pretty firm. The plastic things that go on the base aren't as glossy as some people led me to believe, but it's possible DXRacer changed the finish on them due to complaints of scratching too easily.

Also... prior to the back breaking, the top of the arm rest snapped off. All I did was pushed myself up from a slouching position. Again... generic store bought chair never broke. DX Racer is a poorly made product. Can't believe I wasted $500 on this piece of crap.
