My big question is what this thing uses as the RGB controller? I could actually care less that it doesn't use Cherry keys. The key switches themselves are not difficult to emulate properly--the only reason that Cherry has become the standard is because (1) they're made in germany, and (2) they held patents recently expired (hence why we're not seeing a whole bunch of non-cherry branded keys gain increasing popularity, e.g. Kailh, Topre, Alps, etc.). The issue for me really is the RGB controller. Looking at the two successful mainstream mechanical keyboards with an RGB implementation, i.e. Corsair RGB keyboard series (K65, K70 and K95), and the Razer Chroma, each company had to invest significant effort into developing a comprehensive software solution for the RGB controller. Without such a solution, the fact that the keyboard is outfitted with RGB keys is not all that enticing.
