View Full Discussion For anyone wondering about making cables for this....
TS connectors work fine, haven't been able to make them short by moving them around in the port or anything.
As far as what connectors fit, your mileage may vary. Redco audio has 2 different 2.5mm connectors that I tried, the Switchcraft 850 TS works great, clicks in and stays in. The Redco 30-485 TRS will not go in all the way as the base is too wide.
I had to heatshrink over the Switchcraft connector itself as the opening for it is too narrow for two wires with 275 paracord. Maybe skinnier paracord wouldn't have this problem.
I think I found the same 2.5mm connectors that come on the default cable on Ebay: http://tinyurl.com/ze4nooc
Going to give the Ebay connectors a try next...
I picked a cable from Redco in anticipation for the arrival of my Teaks. I suppose at that point I'll have to see which side (L or R) is the tip and which is the ring.
Typically the tip is left and ring is right.
Thanks for the, uh, tip! Lol. Can't wait to actually get my hands on the Teaks. March 7th is taking way too long to arrive.
It's every bit worth the wait! I'm in love with mine.
