Mine arrived today. I've owned HD600, Fidelio x2, akg k712 so far and e-mu teak top my collection list.
Cool. Any further impressions?
So far my impressions are:
- they are very comfortabl. Personally I never liked headphones weighing more than 300g so I was hesitant on buying e-mu but they are very comfortable. Comfort to me is just as important as the sound quality.
- When I joined the world of audiophiles, I had once fallen into trap of analysing its sound technicality where people talk about how much sub bass and upper mids are like this like that blah blah but I've realised that a good headphone is one that make you 'enjoy' your music. I think e-mu is just that. There is no sibilance in highs and has good bass, vocals sound very soothing and nice. I dont 'hear' the music, I 'listen' to music.
I try listening as unbiased as I can and So far my impression is very very good.
