well i guess im out. massdrop said sorry we dont have any and you can send them back for a refund. no offer to do anything else at all. no replacement cups or anything so let it be known if you have an issue and you think you will get something done think again. im not waiting for the next drop forget it. ill send em back and live without i guess. hope the best for everyone else. there is ZERO reason why a pair of 500$ cans should come like this. a small tiny mark or small discoloration or something sure they are real wood after all. but an already cracked cup almost half way across the cup and the other side all scratched up no.... these should be pristine for this kind of money. not at all happy with the resolution from massdrop. no reason why they cant contact chan and have replacement cups sent out i can change em out im sure i even said i could send these back first.

Bummer. Sorry about your experience. I'm thinking I'll take off the finish, restain and refinish the cups myself.

Sorry to hear that you had issues. IME purchasing directly from EMU seems the way to go. I had an issue with the fit of the cups. The service I got from EMU was great. They paid for the freight both ways and replaced the cups. It did take some time but they came through. Just my $0.02.

How did your teak cups look if you got them, any of those micro scratches or blemishes on the finish? i got some extra ebony cups from chan and the finish is immaculate

one of the cups was not machined properly so it left a big gap between the cup and the frame. There were no blemishes on the cups itself that I could see.
