The cymbal section in the beginning of The Mars Volta - Cicatriz ESP sounds realistic and pretty darn smooth even with the bass guitar rocking behind it. Electronic music sounds amazing with these bad boys. I ran through some Orbital and Aphex Twin - Cheetah, both an absolute pleasure.
One note of caution. My custom cables didn't work correctly because the 2.5mm connectors on these are maybe a half a millimeter longer than standard 2.5mm connectors for some reason.
