I've spent days comparing reviews and direct comparisons between the TH-X00 and E-MU Teak, and from what I've gathered these are the clear choice. I would just Google "TH-X00 vs E-MU Teak" and read individual reviews for each if you're on the fence.

They are basically same phones. Same driver, same tuning, same pads etc. Only difference is the cups, cable and one hundred bucks. Your choice.
