I am curious to know. What makes this so special? Are they really that good? I suffer from migraines and other conditions so I use ear plugs to help out when needed. I simply use standard to triple flange ear plugs. Would these fare much better than those that I am already using?

Philosophic7567With regards to your migraines, make sure these attenuate enough sound. I use them for working at concerts and they make a significant difference in how much sound my ears can take but sometimes I wish they attenuated more.
The frequency response is much better than other triple flange ear plugs that I have used in the past; I wouldn't mix a band with them but I can still appreciate music with them. The molding makes for a snug fit too, can wear them for hours without discomfort.
Probably the next best thing to having custom molded ear plugs.

Philosophic7567I would consider getting professionally made, custom fitted silicone earplugs. They aren't cheap but you can change the attenuation filters to suit what works best for you. I am a orchestral piccolo player with hearing loss in my right ear and wish I had had these at the beginning of my career.

CanuckleheadSo many musicians in your position never realized- also jazz ensemble saxes & bones, and set drummers (hi-hat) as well.

TreynldsYup. I was center snare in a drumline. It makes me cringe when I consider how many hours I spent just murdering my hearing.
