The EarFirst T23 earplugs are a decent value for your money. As other reviewers have noted, they are on the small side of the scale (damn near thought I stuffed them too far into my ear canals. Note to self: orient the pull tabs where they are most accessible). They are quite comfortable, and seemingly have balanced attenuation across the frequency spectrum. I do own some *very* expensive hearing protection with custom earmolds from Sensaphonics with a more "natural" sound, but the EarFirst are very reasonably priced, and if I drop one, no biggie. I bought two pair for just this contingency. One minor quibble: EarFirst, it would be nice if your carry case were rounded like a thickened Necco wafer for storing in the front pocket of one's Levi's. Thank you for reading.
