And the wait begins! As a happy owner of the Velvets, I wanted to try the higher-end offering. I understand the Velvets might have stronger bass, but these may be a step up in resolution, clarity and soundstage.

This is probably a dumb question, but are these good for listening to music generally? And how do they compare with other IEM's around 500?

Are they not using acoustic tubes one their BAs? They just fire into the cavity, in what looks like random directions?
Maybe they've achieved something I'm not appreciating, but it sounds like are making things more difficult for themselves
