'Great for reference' my rear end, lol.
Hm… about a 10dB bass bump. Similar to the AKG N5005. Harlan’s target curve calls for about 10dB for IEMs. I’m not sure why. It creates an almost boomy sound. The bump starts around the 300Hz range, so it will mostly be sub-bass.
Sub bass starts at 60Hz, though. I like a 200hz shelf, this is reaching to lower mids which would make it sound boomy and muddled.
A 5-ish dB bump I can easily get behind (that’s closer to what the regular headphone Harman Target is). 10 is a bit much. Realistically I just need a nice distinct impact and texturing. The 10 dB bump on the N5005 can get a little messy at times. These likely won’t be something that I’ll purchase though. I’m waiting on Etymotic to release their multi-driver design anyways.
Amazing how this went from tuning opinions to preconceived notions of poverty. If this were a roller coaster would this be the DROP? Please, stop, my sides.
lmfao what the schizo did i just read
isn’t this a taiwanese koi fishing forum anyways?
You heard it here first, folks: people living in poverty have money problems!
Yes, they choose to live there! If they live in the USA that’s 100% a fact! Poor people live like poor which costs MORE money than living like you’re rich in terms of money allocation. I think this went over a lot of people’s heads. 🪡
Now talk about an uninformed opinion. Go look up “The Children of Sanchez,” by Oscar Lewis. He’s the reason why you’re making these inaccurate appraisals of intelligence and character of the poor. You’re unwittingly passing on the myth of “the culture of poverty.” It’s not your fault, dude (or dudette). But now that you’ll know... if you continue to say stuff like this AFTER doing some research.... well that’s just silly. Don’t be silly.
id like to point out that you NEED MONEY to live rich- something that many people can't accumulate living paycheck to paycheck even with perfect budgeting.
No, that makes too much sense. You need to stop thinking like someone who has issues with money and start budgeting for thousand dollar earphones. It’ll save you money, especially when the earphones only cost $999! Dollar saved right there, (which you didn’t need anyway because you don’t have issues with money)!
I had to read that twice, but that was clever!
Let me guess you were able to save 95% of your income because you lived in your parents basement and only bought one Fedora?
Clearly lying. 4 years of saving 95% of poverty wages does not buy a house, it buys a shack.
Being poor is more expensive for a number of reasons, you're correct. But there isn't someagic bullet solution that invalidates math.
All that aside, you shouldn't denigrade a person's life choices until you've lived their life and can see how every event led to the decisions they made or make. It's shameful to be so arrogant.
That isn't a no... have fun with your tiny house under the bridge, this is my last bit of troll food.
