I don't know--there's a fine line between a watch designed to tell time, and watch designed to get noticed. This dial is a little too in yo' face for a conservative, understated chap like myself (although I would give it points for legibility). The company itself has been around since Moses and they do have a snappy Beaux Arts office building in La Chaux-de-Fonds's--which is kind of ground-zero for the fancy Swiss watch industry, so just another Chinese watch company, they most definently ain't. One of my usual complaints about watches in this range is that there are a zillion of them--all competing for the very limited quantities of thousand-dollar bills in my pocket at any given time--which is to say, there are tons more thousand-dollar watches I'd rather have before this one. But tastes being as they are, you might feel otherwise (@MarPabl)? RayFFor this one, the price is not bad... maybe I'll join. This is not a run of the mill Valjoux 7750 when I first 👁 it I didn't notice the big date complication, and that one makes this chronograph a very rare ⌚ indeed. There are other mechanical chronographs with the big date @ 🕛 or 🕕 and some use a Dubois Dépraz module. But this one has that big date @ 🕒 which makes it unique and I rather prefer the big date where this one has it ✅ I agree the model shown on the first 📸 is somewhat in your 👨🏻 but I like the models in white.
