I don't know--there's a fine line between a watch designed to tell time, and watch designed to get noticed.
This dial is a little too in yo' face for a conservative, understated chap like myself (although I would give it points for legibility). The company itself has been around since Moses and they do have a snappy Beaux Arts office building inΒ La Chaux-de-Fonds's--which is kind of ground-zero for the fancy Swiss watch industry, so just another Chinese watch company, they most definently ain't.One of my usual complaints about watches in this range is that there are a zillion of them--all competing for the very limited quantities of thousand-dollar bills in my pocket at any given time--which is to say, there are tons more thousand-dollar watches I'd rather have before this one. But tastes being as they are, you might feel otherwise (@MarPabl)?
