M5
After the EcoReco M3 Scooter made waves, they went back to see if they could improve upon their innovative design. With one small tweak- adding high performance rear suspension- the M5 emerged, ready to roll over rougher roads without any issue. Even if you’re not crashing through construction sites, the rear suspension makes your everyday ride as smooth as a magic carpet.
Battery Powered
Forgoing fuel altogether, the EcoReco Scooter runs off clean electricity, poured straight from the nearest wall outlet. The internal Lithium Iron Phosphate rechargeable battery runs for up to 20 miles on a single charge and only requires four and a half hours to return to full capacity, or two and a half hours for 85% capacity. Though most electric scooters can’t crank out too much speed, the EcoReco gets up to 20 MPH and can be regulated to 7.5 or 12.5 MPH if you need to play it a little safer.
Construction
With no chains or gears and a durable aluminum and stainless steel frame, you can be assured of the EcoReco’s resistance against any and all external elements. To avoid flats, the tires are made from solid rubber. Durable against danger and convenient for your commute, the scooter folds up into an easy to carry package that weighs just over 30 pounds and comfortably fits under your desk. Thanks to the hub motor design, even if you run out of juice and have to kick-pedal your scooter, you won’t inflict any damage onto the device.
Safety Mechanisms
To ensure that you don’t harm yourself while having the time of your life, the safe-start throttle requires you to kickstart the scooter and gain some momentum before the motor kicks in. If you like to live dangerously, you can also disable the safe-start mechanism. With a low center of gravity and low profile, you have little danger of falling and an easy step off if you have to bail. For even more safety, the two-staged brake cuts the motor before it applies braking in the rear, letting you glide to a stop without looking like or feeling a jerk. Also including a multimode LED screen to display all your vitals, the EcoReco Scooter gives you a throwback to childhood design that has been drastically overhauled for adult level performance.
