Question for anyone that has an Ecoreco or just got one: How long are you charging it before your first ride? I left my scooter plugged in overnight (15 hours per the 12 hour suggestion in the manual), but the green light on the charger has not come on yet. Wondering if my charger is not working or if the green light is mandatory?

GeorgeWMy M5 came charged so the first charge was about 5 minutes. After depleting down to zero bars, it took over 4 hours to fully charge. I noticed that it took about a half-hour more after it charged to five bars to get the green light.

ngai61Yeah, mine was pretty fully charged too but the manual says it's VERY important to charge the scooter for 12 hours before riding. I did figure out my problem though: I didn't push the cable all the way into the transformer, so it didn't have the best connection.

GeorgeWHopefully I did not permanently diminish the battery. I've gone about 70 miles on it, averaging about 14 miles per full charge with stop-and-go city traffic and some pretty long inclines. Probably too late now, but I am letting it charge overnight... :-(

ngai61I don't think I charged mine right either since the cable wasn't plugged in correctly. Fingers crossed as I'm in the same boat as you...
