Below you can see the defalt écoute audio TH1 frequency response curve (FRC) in green compared to the traditional Harmon Curve (HC) that most headphone use for a target shown in gray. What you will notice is écoute FRC has a stricter/higher fidelity interpretation of the original signal than the HC which lifts the bass and sub-bass ranges as will as the upper-mids to counter balance the bass lift.

there is usb-c port and bluetooth codec info shown under "specs", but can we use this headphone wired (i.e. plug in headphone to computer via usb-c cable for charging, and play music via cable at the same time)? thx...

Yes, there are three signal paths and four listening modes: wireless via Bluetooth 5.3, lossless digital via USBC, Analog both passive and active/powered via 3.5mm.
When listening using USBC, the headphone will simultaneously charge. However you cannot currently charge and listen via 3.5mm or wireless.

The are cloth covered memory foam. Yes, they are replaceable.

Does the bundle on Drop come with a USB-C cable, Coiled Single-Crystal Copper 3.5mm cable, and a case?

The bundle comes with Headphones, USBC charge/data cable, and storage case. There is not a single-crystal 3.5mm included.

Latency is mostly a factor of the Bluetooth codec being used. However as you probably know, connection speeds and sometimes distance between the devices can sometimes add variables. The TH1 prioritizes the two best codecs for audio quality. AAC (Apple) has a latency of around 150 milliseconds, while LDAC (Android) has a latency of around 200 milliseconds. It's important to note that however that many video apps introduce a slight audio delay to counter the affect of any Bluetooth latency.
