Someone needs to help me here. What could be the reason that I would want to maintain a hot or cold temperature on an fluid for 8 or 36 hours? Coffee would be gone in a few hours at most. The only cold liquid that might survive 36 yours would be PGA. And if I got dropped naked into the middle of a jungle with nothing but this and an ESEE cleaver, there wouldn't be a place that I could get a refill in order to pour myself another hot, steaming cup of pig fat. If someone wants one of these, that's not really the issue. The issue is the idiot writing the advertising copy. I pick up a lavender, double insulated smaller bottle from HD that was $5.00, clearance. Hey, there was no S&H.

14themoney"What could be the reason that I would want to maintain a hot or cold temperature on an fluid for 8 or 36 hours?" Are you unaware that thermoses have been around for decades? These are incredibly well made & durable bottles, sure you can find cheaper options but they're less effective at stopping heat transfer.

ecolemanI do believe that these are well made. But I still cannot come up with a reason for wanting to maintain something consumable at a given temperature (with a very slow declination towards ambiance) for such a lengthy period. I find your name intriguing. Would you mind letting me know how you came up with it?

14themoneyThat's just how they advertise these types of bottles. It's my name, shortened.

ecolemanThe reason that I find the name intriguing is because ecole is French for school. I wondered if you were somewhere in education. Thank you for answering my question.
