I've had this mug for about 6 months now and I love it. It keeps my tea hot for at least 30 minutes after pouring, and it works well as both an open and closed top vessel. The biggest problem I've had so far is the lacquer has been eroding, originally the copper color much of the handle's varnish and lacquer has been stripped from use, as well as where I rest my other digits. It has seen a lot of use, however, and I do believe it was a great investment. I only wish it was actually accented with copper, however for obvious reasons, this would not be wise given the objective is to contain the heat.

Love these mugs. The insulation is great, keep things hot/cold for a while, in style too. Got two in the copper, it looks great but does get scratched and chip off a little bit, but nothing major for me, and I've used it a lot. The worse part of these mugs is the lids. They are cheaply sourced, I've had two break so far. The good news is that Double Barrel customer support is awesome, one email later I had a new pack of lids coming my way. Overall, good deal on cool mugs.
