Not only is the shipping a lot and take a long time but the cup sucks. Can't drink out of it with out spilling it on your self. And now I would like a refund but can't figure out how to get one. No more mass drop for me.HOW DO I GET A REFUND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
fx81shovelriderEven though Massdrop had the price discounted to $16.99 USD having to pay $15 USD to ship this to Canada is ridiculous. I got mine from Amazon as well once I saw the shipping cost.
MoristarSo you're saying you don't care what the shipping is as long as you don't see it? Interesting. Shipping to Canada for this drop is $15. Seems pretty reasonable to me.
Massdrop $16.99 + $21.25 shipping to NZ, or Amazon $22.88+ $7.08 shipped to NZ by next week. More and more I am using Massdrop as a reference for cool stuff and then purchasing elsewhere. Erratic and ever increasing international shipping costs is killing Massdrop for those of us outside the US.
I've only purchased four things from Massdrop and that's mostly because I don't really understand the point of the site anymore. I thought it was to get good prices on items though group buying but lately, after some quick research, I find that the item can be purchased for less than or very close to the same price on Amazon (where I don't have to wait weeks for shipping and can often get it in 2-days with Prime); This is one of those items. After shipping is calculated on Massdrop for this, I would pay $25.19 USD. On Amazon, I can get the exact same thing in 2-days for $26.95. My time is definitely worth the $1.76 more I would have to pay at Amazon. Why would I buy it here?
serifDefinitely agree, shipping costs + customs make it quite uneconomical in most cases. For me in Europe, the whole point of using Massdrop is to get stuff that would be very difficult or impossible to get anywhere else, or that I would have to order from the States anyway with equally high shipping costs (keysets or some keyboards for example).

So how spill proof are these things? Love my Zojirushi, but is getting a bit old and needs to be replaced. It is completely leak proof and I do not want to give that up as it often ends up rolling around in the back seat of my car.
@T-Rav Thanks for bringing back to reality. I'm with you, especially after I more closely compared the apparent sizes. The Zojirushi just can't be beat for its sleek (narrow) 16oz size, leak-proof design (even thrown into the bottom of a bag), durability and INCREDIBLE heat retention. Price is about the same as the Ecovessel on Amazon.
Definitely! Love the sleek, narrow look. I've got the 16oz in black and the large clunky competitor bottles just don't measure up.
On another note, I've never tried pre-heating with boiling water first, but I can only imagine how long liquids would stay hot if I did that.
I am totally in love with this product! I take it to work everyday and have had no problems with it! When I received it, there was some few dents in the bottle because of shipping but were all superficial ones! I LOVE IT! Thanks to my fiancé for getting me this! <3
