Edge of Belgravia Hexagon Chef Knife Series

Holding an Edge of Belgravia knife is an experience that can only be described as futuristic. From their lightweight build to their angular shape, these knives have clearly been created with user experience in mind. The Hexagon Series, so named for its hexagon-shaped handle, is the latest in the company’s line of forward-thinking cutlery. The blades are made from Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel, a blade steel commonly used in pocket knives thanks to its high corrosion resistance. The handles are made from teak, which is naturally antibacterial and aesthetically pleasing. Included in the set are seven different knives for anything from preparing a garnish and chopping veggies to slicing through 2-day-old bread and carving turkey.

The Black Diamond knife block from Edge of Belgravia looks like it was chipped off of the side of a volcano. But it’s that futuristic forward-thinking design that makes it so special. Created by designer Christian Bird, the block has space for 11 different knives, each of which sits suspended within the craggy black chamber inside. The angular design allows for easy extraction of each knife when needed. The base of the block is fitted with rubber feet to keep it secure on your kitchen countertop. While it’s meant to be paired with Edge of Belgravia knives, the block will make an equally powerful statement with others, too—as long as they’re thinner than 4 millimeters.
