Why is this drop so FAR OVER MSRP? I thought the idea was to get good price by committing to a drop. $182.99 with shipping is $38.99 OVER MSR(Retail)P(Price).

RbrtThere is no true way to place an "MSRP" value on cards pulled from a pack of Magic.: the Gathering. The prices on individual cards are all different based on who you ask and to add to it they change on a day to day, even hour to hour, basis. I have no idea how they even decided on an MSRP for this drop. Wizards of the Coast doesn't provide an MSRP on individual cards and if they just went card by card and priced everything using one of the more well respected card retailers at the time of listing, then their number is obsolete now as it was probably hours after posting.
So why I can completely agree with you on wondering what Massdrop is doing here. (Listing an MSRP and then charging more than that listed number is not at all in line with the main idea behind Massdrop.) I do have to say that they are not really over charging above MSRP for this set. It is kind of a shot in the dark based on what the actual seller (whomever it happens to be in this instance) thinks will be the value of these cards plus whatever margin they would like to make on that expected value at the time of shipping.
