A sporty, retro-inspired timepiece, the Elysee Heritage Chronograph has a lot going for it on the function side of things, and it maintains a handsome look despite all the complications. Featuring three subdials, a chronograph, a tachymeter, and a date window, the watch has plenty of tools Read More
Saw this watch again today in the ended drops section and experienced a momentary sense of loss thinking I missed the opportunity. Then I realized I'd already joined the drop last week!
I do like a story with a happy ending!
Hoping "Made in Germany" doesn't mean the same thing as "Made in China"?
Not that I have anything against watches made it China, it's just that I'll be thrilled to have one that isn't ;- )

RayFThe German web site states all its watches are 100% made at one site in Germany. I'm on board. Retails €275.
Seiko VK67 mecaquartz, sapphire crystal (is it domed!?) and a beautiful Kingsman inspired design, makes this watch a great buy at 169$! And as RayF pointed out possibly a strap-beast! I'm all over the 11013-model!
Puluto_DurumoI cannot find anything about this "Citizen Miyota VK67". Not even on miyotas own website. The VK67 is a Hattori made mecaquarts (Seiko), and as far is I can find the only movement called VK67. Either there is a typo going around or there is a very rare movement produced just for this watch (or maybet something else, I dont know).
EDIT:
I found a thread started by Elysee, July 2015 where they specifically state it is a Seiko VK67 (mecaquartz). They even had a stunning blue/gold model! Source: https://forums.watchuseek.com/f8/elysee-presents-their-new-vintage-line-many-pictures-2085930.html
So it was as suspected, a typo on their website (and numerous others copying manufacturer). Won't be restless night afterall then, haha!
FoolthI'm a Kingsman fan too, and even though they will let you make monthly payments on that nineteen-thousand dollar watch, I think you'd do better with one of these. They're cheaper here than on Amazon, and that will let you put your extra cash toward a new Kingsman umbrella.
Hard not to like this watch. With the choices of dial and case colors, there's something for everyone on this drop.
Of course we'll have to allow room for criticism from the I only collect automatic's types (aka: the Grey Poupon crowd) but for those of us, who don't discriminate, we'll be thinking:
A) this watch will always "be right" and,
B) this watch should make a pretty versatile strap-monster (especially the stainless case/grey-dial version on a Bond NATO), and
C) since this watch is selling anywhere from $180 to $265 elsewhere, this is actually a pretty good deal.
