The Emile Henry tagine was made in the tradition of the conical earthenware that’s designed for slow cooking and blending flavors through simmering in one pot. Made of Flame Ceramic, this tagine can be used in the oven and over direct heat sources: gas, electric, or halogen with an induction disk for induction hubs. The lid’s cone shape allows steam to circulate, which keeps ingredients moist and develops flavors. The tagine is available in a 2.1-quart capacity and a 3.7-quart capacity.
Note: At checkout, you’ll have your choice of the 10.5-inch tagine in burgundy, charcoal, or terracotta (base price), or the 12.5-inch tagine in charcoal or terracotta (+ $18).
