Watch itself is really nice, but the band isn't the sturdiest. I'd recommend putting it on a different strap if the original one wears out a bit.

Hi everyone, So I have been asked to write a review after owning this watch for 32 weeks. Last review is found here: https://www.massdrop.com/buy/enclave-chrono-watch/talk/1965197
So after 32 weeks of owning it and wearing it for about a total of 23 weeks out of that here are my thoughts.
It is a good watch all round. I have worn it to many places and functions. Most places I have worn it, I was complemented on it and some people wanted to know where they can get one. The colour of the dials has held well and it has not skipped a tick on me yet. It was frustrating to get the date to work on the first few days as you needed to synchonise AM and PM but once you had it, it has worked flawlessly.
In regards to the strap, look, the strap is really nice and feels wonderful on the arm but sadly, as I said before, it stains easy and the stains to not come off. It has actually darkened in those areas. Yes, the strap darkened over time, not lightened. The plus side is that you can now see the lines in the strap of the material.
Lets talk about the dial. The dial is a great size and the two sub-dials do not make it look busy at all (if that is what you are worrying about). The sub-dials are of perfect size. Any smaller and they would be illegible and any bigger, they would be just hideous. My issue is with the top top sub-dial. This one counts minutes of the stop watch. I once let my brother borrow my watch and he left the stopwatch running for about 48 hours. Once I reset the stopwatch, the hand of this sub-dial has been stuck on the 10 minute mark. I have tried many different ways of fixing this and non have come to avail. Funnily though, it does not bother me anymore and I see it more as a quirk of the watch itself.
In regards to the luminosity of dial as a whole is horrendous. There is no two ways of saying this, it is shit. To date, I have not been able to reach full luminosity (I have once left it in the sun from sunrise to sunset) and what pitiful amount it could absorb to light up the dial, it was gone in less than a minute. This is honestly the only minus to the watch.
Size wise, this watch is great, it fits under each shirt and does not protrude in any form unless you bring it out yourself. As I said, the watch is super light, so you will not feel it at all.
Another plus is the strap. It accounts for people like me who have small-wrist-itis and have to sometimes buy a 3rd party strap or make a whole themselves for the strap to fit the wrist.
For those wondering about drops and scratches, I have dropped it once from about a 2 metre height (that's just over 6 feet to my metric cousins) and brushed it against the wall and no damage is seen at all which in my book is a plus.
Would I buy another one of these watches?
After I wrote the review, I sat on this question for a day and really thought about it so here is the answer.
For myself I would not simply because I already have one and I kinda love the quirk with the minute sub-dial. It just makes mine unique. I would definitely buy as a present for someone else though BUT the one with the blue dial and tan strap (like mine). I saw black dial and white dial with tan straps in the 'wild' and they do not look as good (not being biased at). I also went to a watch shop and had a look at similar straps to the ones that are offered with this watch and again, they do not look the same, just kinda feels off.
Pricing wise, I think though having an original price of US$140 is too expensive for this watch though I personally think that an original price of US$100 would fit this watch perfectly.
Again, if you have any questions, please feel free to reply to here or message me.

ZakwakThanks for this review Z. I surprised you couldn't zero the minute hand, usually there's a hack. RE coordinating date, I always set the date to the day before, then advance the hands until the date flips. (If your setting it after noon do a second turn around the dial. Works every time.

S2KiHey S2Ki, Yeah, I've tried it as well. Found that advice on a forum (don't remember which one) a while ago and it didn't work. Here's my quirky minute hand that I've come to love.

Stylish chrono at a great price! Comfortable quick change light brown leather strap beautifully complements the cream color dial, watch has performed accurately and feels well built. I swap it out from time to time onto a silver mesh bracelet which enhances the dressiness.
