Although I love the design, I've never had a sapphire crystal scratch as quickly as this did; are we SURE this is sapphire glass and not "sapphire coated mineral glass?" Given the price, I'm just asking...

kingpingIt's definitely a true Sapphire Crystal! You can test it out by taking a razor blade or knife and attempting to scratch the surface. A mineral glass display will drag and scratch, but on a Sapphire Crystal display the blade will glide on top without scratching.

Yes! Thank You! So we decided to--for some reason, because ya can't buff out sapphire glass!--buff this out, and we discovered it was a hard, thin deposit on the glass. Three people looked at it and called it a scratch, but it wasn't! I'm very happy you responded, and I regret calling into question the crystal quality. Thumbs up on both the watch quality, design, and communication from enclave! Thanks!

kingpingso it's true sapphire glass all the way through out the glass? not a think layer of Sapphire only on the top coating?
