EPOS has established itself as a go-to in the world of gaming audio—and with the new H6PRO headset, the brand is turning things up a level. While many gaming headsets focus on aesthetic style (read: RGB everywhere) and a lot of bass for immersion, the H6PRO delivers exceptionally detailed and lifelike sound in streamlined design. That’s thanks, in large part, to the open-back design that gives the sound stage plenty of room to breathe. Inside each ear cup is EPOS’ custom-designed 42-millimeter dynamic driver that puts a striking emphasis on detail and real-life immersion—an important approach if you’re using the headset for competitive gaming or long play sessions. There’s also a detachable boom microphone with excellent vocal focus so you can communicate with your teammates in clear, crisp relief. While the exterior isn’t quite as vibrant as some other gaming headsets, there are plenty of contoured lines and subtle coloration to bring a bit of character to the H6PRO. And thanks to features like an adjustable headband with clear markers, as well as a volume wheel on the right ear cup, the design is practical, too.
