Solid value. Don't think twice about getting it on sale.
I needed an upgrade to my current Razer headset with a nice closed back for two reasons: 1. I needed to drown my gaming son out without going the noise-canceling route. 2. I needed to not drive my wife insane when working from home with my music. I almost picked up the PC38X on sale and I'm glad I held out. The GSP 602 delivers on everything I wanted, sounds good, and is comfy to boot. I have thick glasses frames and after some extended work sessions did not have discomfort once I dialed in the adjustments.

The foam around the ears is solid and thick. I'm bothered by nothing while listening to music at a reasonable volume, and there's headroom to bump tunes even when coming straight off my PC. The volume dial feels sturdy, and the mic has a distinct click to indicate mute/unmute as you raise and lower it. Friends and coworkers alike report that the audio is clean from the mic, and they pick up none of the music I'm listening to (unlike my last set). I can get a bit warm in this headset without the ceiling fan running, but such is the closed-back life and I don't feel it was bad enough to knock the rating down. On one hand, I almost want to say only pick this set up on sale like I did, but after some use and considering my Razer headset was $130, the $220 price point still feels fair. I paid $150 for the GSP 602 and it feels worth every penny and some.

Great Office Headset!
I mainly use it for calls, but also listen to music every now and then (YouTube or high res Amazon Music) for over a year now, paired with a Mayflower Arc Mk2. Due to the headset's closed back nature, it doesn't bleed a lot of sound or lets a lot of noise in - no ANC though. So even when the office gets hectic at times or construction is being done, I never struggle to understand other people or to enjoy my music. The mic sounds great and I never received a complaint for too much background noise. The headband definitely isn't for everyone (not easily mod- or swap-able), the pads are very comfortable and soft, the headset's clamping could be an issue for folks with bigger heads. Sound-wise, it's "open-ish" for a closed back design, don't expect too much sound stage and wideness though. The lows are definitely there (especially when you pair it with a decent mobile dac-amp), the mids are clear and the highs are sharp enough. Overall, it sounds precise, while leaning more to the warmer side, not quite "fuzzy" though. It's built like a tank and while it's looks are gaming oriented, it a got a few compliments already - mainly for the pretty colours. As for gaming: My unit was never used once for gaming, I solely bought it for the office. For the current price, I can definitely recommend the GSP 602.

MutatopotatoGreat review! Interesting you use it for the office… but it’s cool that the colors get you compliments. Someone else on Drop introduced me to radioparadise.com if you would like some more HiRes music with a DJ-curated feel :)

Good Sound
So this headset sounds great and the comfort is decent but it feels like a tank on your head. It feels so bulky I find myself passing it over for other headsets I own. The microphone is great on it as well.

Fantastic!
This is a great headset! I have ears that stick out a bit, so headsets are never comfortable. These, on the other hand, never even touch my ears, and the ear cups are incredibly comfortable. The only complaint I can think of is that clamping pressure is a tiny bit too much for me. Obviously that's a personal preference, and I can still comfortably wear them for hours at a time. The microphone is excellent and the audio is fantastic. All around an absolutely wonderful headset!

Not great compared to PC37/38x
I have used Sennheiser gaming headsets (PC 350, PC 360, PC37x, PC38x) for many years. I have purchased multiple pairs of headsets due to the volume knob issue...if you know, you know. I was really looking forward to these EPOS GSP 602 because I liked the color/style. I gave away my "old" PC38x headset to a friend and started using the GSP 602s. I made it 5 days before I ended up ordering another pair of PC38x to replace these. Even on the longest band setting, they were still a little too short and put a lot of pressure on the bottom of my ears. I really didn't like the noise-canceling aspect of the headphones and it made it somewhat difficult to talk when you can't hear yourself that well (even with the sidetone). The build quality is good, the headset seems to be well-made. The earcups have a lot of padding, but I didn't find myself able to use them for more than ~1hr at a time. The sound quality isn't great, but you do hear a lot more quiet sounds that you might have missed due to the closed-back design. The mic quality is solid like all of the other headsets in this line. I did have an issue with my mic randomly cutting out and fixing itself when I fiddled with the cord. A different headset did not have these issues. As I said, I ended up ordering another pair of PC38x, and putting them on felt like sliding into your own bed after a week at a hotel. I would not recommend this headset.

Nice! But not amazing....
I did like these headphones a lot, especially the colorway. The classic leather color pads and futuristic lines make it really pleasing to my eyes. Otherwise, the sound quality is pretty great, it has Sennheiser's signature sound, which takes some getting used to. But once you do for some time, you won't want another cheap gaming headset from a gaming brand. Sure there are better brands, but for the price and having a fairly nice integrated mic from a known to be good company. I can recommend this.

Buyer beware
for +$200 bucks I was hoping a lot, lot more. I find them extremely uncomfortable to the point where i've really tried to break them in and attempted different positions and adjustments to no success. Sound is definitely good but not great, but you're CONSTANTLY hearing something if you move the cord at all. Adding to frustration, I have been frustrated by the quality of sound and background filtering from the microphone. on the positive side, they look great. overall, typically I love EPOS headphones, but wish I could return these.

Everything is awesome!
Except the headband that is... These headphones are beautifully built, well engineered and have a wonderfully balanced sound signature. I'm not a gamer, so for me there were initially, simply quirky Zoom call headphones that I got at a good price. I eventually tried some music on these, and then some more...and over time I've come to the conclusion that these are great music headphones as well. You get 2 good quality braided cables and real Transformers vibe when you wear these with the articulating hinge! The bass is deep and punchy, with clear, articulate treble. If anything, the vocals seem a bit recessed, but being primarily a gaming headphone, I can understand this. Easy to drive, this works well directly from the headphone jack of my Mac as well as the Apple lightning adaptor. I've tried this on a few simple amps like the Modi/Magni stack as well as the Liquid Spark and didn't notice any substantial improvement. Perhaps scalability isn't its forté. For the current asking price of $150, this is a bargain, especially considering what you're comparing this with...Senn PC78X (more comfortable to wear than the GSP 602). Wearing comfort is the only issue and if your head type isn't a great fit, the GSP 602 might not work for you. Other than that, this is brilliant.

Great Clarity
The earpads, though quite comfortable, are small. So if you have big ears these may or may not be comfortable for you. They're very light and can muffle out other noises very well. They're aesthetically very easy on the eyes IMO and that alone makes up for some of the shortcoming (ie. lack of bluetooth or wireless capabilities and the small ear pads.) Overall sounds are crisp which give me the advantage in competitive shooters and the immersion desired for single player action and sci-fi games. Great headset.

Solid build, neat mic muting fxn
Got this at 99 before the drop to 79. I would say that, at 79, the pricing is comparable to other gaming headphones like HyperX Cloud Alphas, but the build feels much more solid and the attached mic with flip-to-mute is better than comparable headphones with a mute switch on the cable. The only thing I'd note is that it's definitely a bulkier headphone, but its shape and padding make it more than comfortable enough for long periods of wear. TLDR: If you compare this to similar closed-back gaming headphones on the market, the $79 price is a steal for a well-built headphone.
