I just want to know what cap nuts are used in this picture! I have two ErgoDoxes and neither came with the rounded nuts like the ones in the shot above.

rossipediaWhat you're looking for is something like this:
http://www.homedepot.com/p/12-mm-1-75-Stainless-Steel-Cap-Nut-1-Pack-72258/100338240?N=1z0ygcx

They're nice, however, I can't seem to find a enthusiast store like FrozenCPU or Performance-PCs that carries these type of cap nuts in different colors.

rossipediaI would guess that any cap nuts for the proper size screws will work, I believe they are standard M3

rossipediaI had to do some shopping around, but I never did find M3 acorn nuts (cap nuts). What I had to do was get M4 bolts with M4 acorn nuts and go from there. I ended up having to use an 11/64th drill bit and enlarge the holes a bit on the acrylic pieces. I warn you that you will need to clamp the pieces to a table to keep the acrylic from snapping on some of the sheets where the plastic is real thin.
