I emailed support (twice) and got a reply immediately after my second attempt, saying that the project head has been notified and will give us an update on Monday. It appears that the people responsible for these updates have the weekend off.

karplusstrongYour snark might be warranted if it weren't for the fact that it's been 51 days since the last update. If they know the status on Monday, they knew the status on Friday and even Thursday, the original estimated ship date. It's not hard to say "sorry, we're running into an issue and we'll get you an update in a week when we know more".

aphisticWow, wasn't trying to be snarky at all. Just relaying the information that was given to me. Why did you think I was being snarky? I'm not defending massdrop, nor am I particularly angry at them. If you're angry, you'd be better off focusing your negativity elsewhere.

karplusstrongYou shouldn't be responsible for relaying what "support" is saying to the rest of the community. The fact that you had to because there was complete and utter radio silence from MD is uncool to the extreme. If I've missed a deadline, I don't get to have a weekend... perhaps MassDrop should invest in people that're invested in the company staying solvent. At the moment I've heard absolutely nothing from anybody at MassDrop that makes me want to continue spending money here. I'd rather pay more and know where the hell my money went and more importantly where my product is... even if it's late.

karplusstrongYour "It appears that the people responsible for these updates have the weekend off" came off as snarky to me.
