Built my first keyboard this weekend! Boy soldering those diodes was a drag. After finishing with those everything else was a breeze. So far the ergodox column design is throwing me all my typing vices to my face. Is just until today that I could make time to really test my very first mechanical keyboard. Typing is painfully slow but i have no doubt this will be worth it.
Anyone knows about a centralize documentation ? You know for consulting stuff like layers , beginner to advance programming, tenting, etc ?
I'll probably start building my second kit this weekend. I can already tell this is gonna work wonders on my RSI.
Typed all of this on my new ergodox , just took me like 20 minutes, Happy Birthday to me

ccoloradoThere's not really a centralized documentation, but check the monster thread on GeekHack where the ErgoDox was born and raised, plenty of good info and leads to be found there: https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=22780.0
My own posts in there have some useful tips for layout and tenting approaches: https://geekhack.org/index.php?action=profile;area=showposts;u=21628;topic=22780.0
