My ErgoDox had to wait several months disassembled inside my drawer until I found the time to open the dusty box and build the keyboard. The result is however great!
Building ErgoDox was easier than expected. I was specially afraid of soldering the diodes with my cheap iron, but it was pretty ok. The whole procedure took about 5-6 hours (3 evenings).
Before starting soldering I recommend anyone to read all the instructions and the blogs around for further tips.
Next, I will be playing with the firmware... but that might have to wait another couple of months again ;-)
Cheers, D.
