You can always use layers, which this keyboard supports. So you can make a layer in the right-hand side to act as a virtual left hand layer, and switch back and forth. You'd have to modify a file in the firmware source for the layout you want, and recompile it. If you want custom-printed keys with dual legends, go to wasdkeyboards.com, you can choose keycap colors and print anything you like on them.
sordnaThis way may serve as a solution for people who temporarily lost functionality in one of their hands and don't want to learn a whole new layout. For a person who permanently only uses one hand, there are more efficient solutions to this, like a special one-hand-layout. It's not that much about the possibility of having layers, but about how much sense it would make to use half of a two-handed keyboard for one-handed typing and if there are any better options. I personally think that at least an extra column and possibly a block of other keys would be necessary to have access to the most important keys without having to use any of the layers (all modifier and function keys, arrow keys, all letters etc.) P.S.: I would really love another price break, too. We are at 160 already :)
