If I add the anodized aluminum top plate, do I still get the clear acrylic top plate or do they remove it from my kit? I'd like to get the aluminum top plate but don't want to lose the clear top plate so not sure if I should add the aluminum one as an option for the drop or to buy it separately.

silverthornneI was wondering the same. I want to end up with *both* an acrylic top plate and an aluminum top plate.
If I have to play it safe, I'll have to get this kit with the acrylic option and buy the separate drop for an aluminum top plate.

ZUUL42You get both if you order the aluminum one. Think of the aluminum one as an additional plate not as a replacement (although you would use it instead of using the top acrylic plate)
